We’re so excited that you’re coming to visit. GPS doesn’t always get you to our front door. Please reference these directions when making your way to Ho’oilo House.
Driving Directions from Kahului International Airport (OGG)
- Follow directions from the airport to Lahaina and Kaanapali. You will begin traveling on Hwy 380 for approximately 7 miles.
- Turn Left onto Hwy 30, the Honoapiilani Highway. Travel for approximately 12 miles.
- At about mile marker 17 the road becomes Lahaina Bypass (before you reach Lahaina) you will be on the Bypass for about 1 mile and will turn right on Kai Hele Ku Road (the first street light on Lahaina Bypass).
- Travel about one-half mile up the hill, through the round-a-bout. Turn left on Awaiku Street. (Our street sign periodically goes missing – take the first left past the round-a-bout.)
- Ho’oilo House is on the right approximately 200 yards. Our driveway is 100 yards long and the house is on the right at the end of the driveway–please be sure to stay to the right while coming up the drive. (138 Awaiku Street)
- Please note there is a small Ho’oilo House sign at the bottom of the driveway and again at the top – if you don’t see these signs, you’re not at the correct property. Please call 808-667-6669 for guidance.
Driving Directions from Kapalua West Maui Airport (JHM)
- When leaving the airport take a left on HWY 30, the Honoapiilani Highway.
- Travel through Lahaina making your way to the stop light at Kai Hele Ku Street. Turn left on Kai Hele Ku. (Launiupoko Wayside Park will be on the right).
- Travel one mile up the hill, through the round-a-bout. Turn left on Awaiku Street. (Our street sign periodically goes missing – take the first left past the round-a-bout.)
- Ho’oilo House is on the right approximately 200 yards. Our driveway is 100 yards long and the house is on the right at the end of the driveway–please be sure to stay to the right while coming up the drive. (138 Awaiku Street)
