Maui is a water-lovers paradise. Snorkeling, swimming, sailing, cruising…all things water related are available here.
WHALE WATCH
During whale season (December-April) whale watch tours are amazing! We recommend tours offered by the Pacific Whale Foundation.
SNORKEL
Snorkel trips are a great way to experience Maui’s amazing sea life. Personally, we prefer smaller boats. As Lahaina Harbor has been devastated and is in the restricted access area, we continue to recommend Alii Nui out of Ma’alaea Harbor.
If you prefer to skip the boat, but would like a guided experience, try a shore based tour with Maui Snorkel Tours.
SURF
Learning to surf is a bucket-list adventure for a lot of people and we happen to have some great instructors here on the West side of Maui. Try to ride the waves with Rivers to the Sea.
KAYAK
Kayaking, especially during whale season, is a fun and unique island experience. We highly recommend South Pacific Kayak for your adventure.
DIVING
While not our thing personally, we have guests and friends that LOVE to SCUBA. We highly recommend Lahaina Divers. Please note that Lahaina Divers lost their dive shop and boat during the Lahaina Fire – we are still searching for a new recommendation.
